'Concept'

The 'Concept' surface mounted Weighbridge is probably the strongest Weighbridge available. The pre-cast concrete deck will never rust, which is major problem associated with the underneath of competitors steel Weighbridge decks. With the special design incorporating fibres within the high strength concrete, painting and maintenance is a thing of the past. This is especially welcome and reassuring when the resistance includes road salts, most of the environmentally damaging chemicals and wear resistance.

The concrete deck is cast in our Sheffield Factory (Non-Export Model) as a single deck with the Load Cell access at the side. Therefore unlike other designs there are no deck plates or bolts to remove, which would deteriorate over time.

The 'Concept' is mounted onto a simple foundation which requires no restraint systems as special impact protection is built within the design.

The 'Concept' range is also available in a kit form to include all steelwork, ancillaries and pre-calibrated system ready for casting on site. This option allows for the customer to erect the Weighbridge and cast the deck in situ.

With a shipping weight of around 4 Tonnes and sections which may be containerised or part loaded with other freight, it is probably the most cost effective Weighbridge available.

Export customers receive the complete Weighbridge in kit form and Instructions to cast the deck, except for the concrete, which is sourced at site to the required specification. A civil works builder who is familiar with general concrete works should be able to prepare and cast the deck within one or two days. Following the curing time, the Weighbridge is simply jacked up and placed onto the Load Cells, which are pre-cabled to the Junction Box and pre-calibrated with the Intelligent Indicator, ready for use.
